Xauen Olive Oil is a small, independent business based in the Forest of Dean, bringing one of the world’s finest Extra Virgin Olive Oils directly to Gloucestershire. They are the exclusive UK importer of Señorío de Camarasa Picual Extra Virgin Olive Oil, produced by Cooperativa Santa Isabel in Torres, Jaén, in the heart of Andalucia’s Sierra Mágina mountain range.
What makes them different is the direct connection to the source. Fernando, the founder, is himself a member of the cooperative, and his family’s olive trees contribute to every harvest. There are no brokers, no middlemen and no blending with other origins. What leaves the grove in Torres is exactly what arrives on your table.
The EVOO has received outstanding international recognition, including being named in the EVOOLEUM Top 10 Best Olive Oils in the World, featured in the Michelin Guide 2026 Spain, and awarded 2nd Best Medium Fruity EVOO at IberOleum 2026.
At the stall, visitors will be able to taste the EVOO and discover what genuinely great Extra Virgin Olive Oil tastes and feels like. They will also be able to learn about its origins, its PDO Sierra Mágina certification, and its naturally high polyphenol content, including oleocanthal, a natural anti-inflammatory compound that gives the oil its characteristic peppery finish.
It is a stall for curious food lovers, cooks, and anyone who wants to bring something truly special into their kitchen.
